Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps (officially abbreviated to SgtMajMarCor; unofficially as SMMC) is a unique non-commissioned rank and billet in the United States Marine Corps. Description from imgarcade.com. I searched for this on bing.com/images

Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego

The Depot's primary function is to take quality young men from the western two-thirds of the United States and transform them through the foundations of rigorous basic training, our shared legacy, and a commitment to our Core Values, preparing them to win our Nation’s battles in service to the country.

"The USMC Mounted Color Guard was founded in 1967 by a Vietnam Vet for local parades. Since then, most of the mounted color guards throughout the Marine Corps have gone away. The last one being Camp Pendleton in 1995. Next to the Budweiser Clydesdales, no horses are more spoiled than those in the Marine Corps" ~ Gunny Sergeant Pete McConnell
