Academy Award winning crooner, Bing (Harry Lillis) Crosby was born today 5-2 in 1904. A 20s band group singer, he sprang into his solo years in the 30s that lasted until his passing. Radio, movies, TV filled his years. He created his famed golf tourney, the Crosby Clambake that still goes on today as the Pebble Beach/ATT Pro-Am. Bing passed of a heart attack on a golf course near Madrid, Spain in 1977.
