One of our favourite restaurants was Gonpacci in Roppongi, Tokyo. This place apparently inspired one of Quentin Tarantinos fight scenes in Kill Bill. We had a very happy evening here.

Serene Sleep: Stay a Night in a Koyasan Temple : Savvy Tokyo

Roy Miyano is a restauranteur who knows how to give Tokyoites what they want. I've been a fan of his establishments ever since he opened the first branch of the popular burrito chain Frijoles in Azabu Juban several years ago. So when I heard that he would be opening a new custom salad place in the same neighborhood (which just happens to be my own neighborhood), I couldn't wait to try it out.
