Ann-Mari Lindbom Forsberg (1916-1992) was a pupil of Barbro Nilsson at Konstfack [University College of Arts, Crafts and Design] in Stockholm. She joined the Märta Måås-Fjetterström AB workshop in Båstad in 1943 and, together with her teacher and Marianne Richter, helped breathe new life into the studio. Her simple but highly original patterns used contrasting shapes, e.g. in the rug "Rödbroka" [Piebald] or "Röd crocus" [Red Crocus], in the collection of the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.

Märta Måås-Fjetterström creates some of the finest rugs and tapestries in the world, handwoven at the studio in Båstad, Sweden by artisan weavers since
