The works by Ann-Mari Forsberg have a strong narrative but also humour and are one of the most important works in the Swedish textile tradition. She was inspired by the feel of her childhood, growing up close to the pharmacy, and by the nature of the island of Gotland. This was intertwined with the old textile folk art tradition. She created her own style of composition with a bold and bright colour scheme.

Ann-Mari Forsberg – Her textile works have a strong narrative but also humour and are one of the most important works in the Swedish textile tradition.
