You can also have fun this weekend by making your own lava lamp. All you need is (1) a vase or water bottle, (2) food coloring, (3) vegetable oil, (4) water, and (5) Alka Seltzer. Mix food coloring with 1 cup of water until you reach the desired color, and pour that mixture into a vase 3/4 full of vegetable oil. Then break the Alka Seltzer into tiny pieces, drop them in to the mixture, and watch your lava lamp come to life!
