Toddler threading activity with giant cardboard beads. Could be a little project to have them paint the tubes, let them dry, and cut the tubes into smaller lengths (with some help). Add stickers for decoration and even more fine motor practice!
Balloon Rockets - I've done this in several science camps I've conducted. Kids have fun with it. But, when the balloon deflates it may fall off the straw because it's surface area changes - another good thing to show and explain to kids.
PRESCHOOL Set up a simple fine motor activity to work on letter recognition. This letter matching activity can be set up various ways depending on your child's skill level: alphabetical order, uppercase/ lowercase letter recognition, sequencing, etc!
