This is a fun way to use the Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down assessment. At the end of a lesson, you can have this up on the board or somewhere the students can see it. You can point to each one and get a count of who needs help or those who do not need it. Record as necessary!

This is a quick and easy formative assessment to quickly assess if your students are learning what they need to. The teacher asks a question and students used a hand signal to show their understanding.
