What to Make Out of a Crystal Light Container - I planned on using my Crystal Light containers for marker storage at school. Excited to see other ways to use the containers. I already use an empty on in my husband's lunch box for his silverware.

Creative Ways to Reuse Your Crystal Light Containers

There are always tons of great coupons and sale deals on Crystal Light and I always end up with a bunch of containers! I hate to just get rid of them, so often times they become a travel container for colored pencils/twistables crayons. They are great to bring to a restaurant for the kids since the restaurants around here only give about 2 crayons, which usually break! While browsing on one of my favorite sites: livingrichwithcoupons, I came across some great ideas that were posted on how to…

Ever wondered what to do with those empty Crystal Light containers? I've got about a dozen of these collected and love using them for storage: beads, pens, pencils, and even vitamin packets and stevia packets (way cuter than bulky boxes sitting around the cabinet and coffee pot)

January 2012 - Tunstall's Teaching Tidbits

It was a tough few days being separated from sweet little cammy my camera. To be totally honest I was always with a part of her. But never all of her... camera, cord, and charged battery...so today all three of those important parts of her were together and in tact. whew. Are you ready? Here we go! :) First, on Sunday I sat in my big brown chair by the fire and made some sweet little hearts to give my family. My plan is to make them for my class or even better to have my class make…

What Oliver will be giving to his new teacher. I love it because it uses crystal light containers (I always save them, but run out of uses for them) AND Andes Mints because they are made in a nut free facility, which totally works for Oliver's nut allergy AND our school system's nut-free school policy.

Crystal Light container - I use this in my bag for cereal bars, protein bars...anything that usually gets smooshed at the bottom of my bag.

Tipsy Tuesday (#175)

I've been drinking a lot of Crystal Light this summer and decided to hit up the internet to see how I could reuse/repurpose the cool containers that the large packets of the stuff come in. Tip #175 Here are a few ideas for reusing/repurposing Crystal Light containers: Use as a fresher way to store blocks of cheese. Store markers/crayons in them for portable art supplies for the kiddos. See if your sunglasses will fit in one! Pack up a surprise to send in the mail. **Alright now, I'm talking…

Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix - I am going to use all of those Crystal Light containers I have been saving to package this mix in for Christmas gifts!

Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix

I love hot chocolate and can be "forced" to drink it in almost any climate -- even if I'm not cold! However, I don't love paying top dollar for it at fancy coffee places and restaurants. I also don't really like the "cheaper tasting" watered down hot chocolate packets from the store. So thankfully, my mom always made her own homemade hot chocolate mix... and shared her really easy recipe with me {it only has 4 ingredients}!
