Still more fun with Barbie heads!

~Garden statue~ I'm gonna admit that this is kinda creepy.but I think if it actually turned out that it would be sorta pretty. (Cut the back half of the doll's head off and fill the front piece with cement for a sculptured doll head for your garden.

UK-based Gray Concrete created this concrete Chesterfield sofa for exhibiting at 100% Design London. The sofa is made by taking a mold from a real Chesterfield, which is then used to make a glass textile reinforced casting. The cushions are a part of the casting. Before making the mold, the padding inside the cushions was replaced with a rigid foam which was modeled to make “bum prints.” Looks leathery, and there’s even a concrete 50p piece stuck down behind one of the cushions.

Made from concrete. It was created by a UK-based company called Gray Concrete, appropriately enough, for the Design exhibition in London, and the incredible amount of detail in it was captured using the company's special molding techniques.
