I spent 10 years as a "Resource Teacher" at a private school for young children with special needs.... providing Art + Music experiences. The songs I write are simple, repetitive + have an "I Can Do That" spirit. My invitations are often to sites in the SP-ED community. My song + book "You're Wonderful" are becoming something of an anthem to those with special needs. I'd like for this board to become the best of collaborative boards.

We all suffer, from time to time, with that feeling that a name or phrase we are trying to recall is on the tip of our tongue, but somehow we just can't access the needed information in the moment. For many students this happens during stressful moments such as test taking, but for others, such as most students with dyslexia, this is a pervasive problem that requires intervention. #wordfinging #anomia Reading Lessons, Reading Strategies, Test Taking, Working Memory, Emotional Regulation, Executive Functioning, Dyslexia, Emotional Intelligence, Adhd
