DIY Advent Wreath I made with my 3rd grade CCD kids and they LOVED it. You'll need: small green plates, green tissue paper, purple/pink pipe cleaners, tealight candles, glue stick, hot glue gun. Use a glue stick around the brim of the plate (emphasize this to prevent accidental fires since candles are real) and stick on tissue paper leaves. Wrap pipe cleaners around tealights (no glue needed; great fine motor practice). Hot glue candles to plate. Seen is a picture of one of my students' wreaths.
