These “Arab pizzas” probably date back to the fifteenth century and would have appeared in the region of the Beqaa Valley in Eastern Lebanon close to the Syrian border, the capital of which is Baalbek. An Iraqi family named Haidar is at the origin of the recipe.
Of course I did not make exactly like the recipe. Just used hamburger, no onions, forgot to put the egg and feta, but they were still really good.
