Marshmallow math: teaching place value.  This excercise allows students to visualize place values using an edible craft.  Students will get to use a variety of abnormal materials (marshmallows and fruit loops) as well as toothpicks.  This would be stimulating and help with fine motor skills and visual learning.  Plus it provides a tasty treat!
