Just finished a thought provoking book called "The Buddha meets Sokrates - A Philosopher's Journal" by Harrison J. Pemberton. The author has been teaching philosophy for over fifty years at universities in the United States. In 2004 he embarked on a journey to teach Western philosophy to Buddhist monks and H.H. the 17th Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje. In this book he shared his experience and insights about looking at the work of Western philosophers and comparing it to Buddhist philosophy.
