Around the World Music

By integrating music into your classroom, you are introducing a new take on that subject. Music is relating and filled with emotion. When learning about a new culture, why not show your students the music, activities, and customs of that culture.

Use these resources to introduce students to musical instruments from six different countries! This is a great unit to tie into other world music studies, instruments of the orchestra, or the science of sound. Students see pictures of instruments from one of the countries, and use their knowledge of instruments to describe the instrument and predict what it will sound like.
