Old photo, new edit. Thinking of adding a history lesson to go with my posts. #geteducatedamerica This fact is for those silly billies telling non-white Americans to “go back where they came from” Yosemite Valley was home to the Ahwahneechee people for thousands of years before white settlers arrived in the area. Although not the first Native American tribe, the Ahwahneechee were present when the first outsiders encountered them in the 1800s. In fact, the tribe is responsible for the naming
Memorial Day - What a bittersweet reminder of our freedom and the cost of it. The cost that has been paid by thousands of lives so that we may enjoy simple liberties that others in some countries will never know. It’s easy to take it for granted when it’s all we’ve ever known or when things aren’t exactly aligned with our beliefs and yeah, I’m sure you’ve sat there at some point or another in the past few months or years thinking “Get your act together, America” but at the end of the day, we ha
Covid-19 can’t cancel love, y’all. Have you seen @johnkrasinski officiate a couple of The Office fans wedding? If not, look up “Some Good News” on YouTube and you’ll see what I’m talking about 🥰 Sometimes your love story won’t go exactly as you pictured it. Life can be messy and flawed and unpredictable and scary, but in the end, it’s about stringing together all those little moments of pure joy and passing it on when we can to give one another hope, the promise of a better day on the horizon

Happiness can be found inside of the briefest passing moments. Sometimes so subtle it’s over and forgotten in a single breath, as fleeting as a blink of an eye... a gaze, a brush of the hand, so every day, so commonplace it’s taken for granted. I’m obsessed with these moments of in-between. So much so that I’ve dedicated my career to chasing after them, they can be elusive or obvious, but I’ve always been a collector of moments. My camera is like my wand 🧙🏻♀️ and I’m here, your fairy god-pho
Defying gravity✌🏼 One of the most amazing places I’ve ever visited! I recommend @natyahotelandresort #ubud to errbody. The travel bug is biting me HARD. Would you guys be interested in a Bali #honeymoon guide as a blog post? I’m planning on combining my travel experiences into guides for brides trying to plan for their honeymoons because I know we learned so much from watching a million travel blogs before taking off to explore and found d them so helpful! ✈️ #bali
Good as gold ✨ I know we’re still in the midst of a very weird worldly situation but I’m feeling super optimistic about getting back to creating more of these moments very soon as other states begin to phase into the early steps of reopening procedures. Don’t get me wrong, mass gatherings and protests are so very far from helpful and are a literal slap in the face to our healthcare workers who don’t want to be postponing their weddings or events either you guys, but if you’re not in the medica
Oregon is a state that I was completely oblivious to the beauty of until approximately a year ago. Before then it wasn’t even on my radar.... LIKE WHAT?!?! Yeah and I’ve lived in the state just South of Oregon for almost 4 years now. In October I booked a cheap flight to Oregon on a whim and ended up in the most magical land of mountains and enchanted forest and fog and ferns and redwoods and ocean and looming little islands just off the coast all rolled up into one. It was unlike anything I had
Hey hey 👋🏼 I’m Jasmine and I want to be your wedding photographer 🖤 but first, I want us to get to know one another a little bit better. Besides photographing weddings, I love traveling, hiking and happy hours - there’s a #sourbeer somewhere with my name on it 🍻 During quarantine, I’ve been reading, DIY-ing, doing puzzles and watching Queer Eye (which is the uplifting energy the world needs right now to get through this!) I also joined TikTok but so far have only been posting videos of my
Been feeling all kinds of stir crazy and ready to get back to these moments once again. This shoot took place shortly after wildfires had ravaged the beautiful #pacificcoasthighway leaving the surrounding area looking like the blackened bits of Mordor 🧙🏻♂️🧝🏽♂️ a little LOTR reference for you all. It was tough to see the damage done but it’s been well over a year... or has it been 2 years already?!? and the greenery has returned and flourished. Not unlike what we’re experiencing right now
So I’m sharing some of the more candid photos that I don’t typically showcase on my Instagram feed because this wedding hit me in the heart. They all do but... this beautiful bride moved her wedding up after her father was diagnosed with ALS. Also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, this disease causes motor functions to deteriorate... sometimes slowly and sometimes rapidly. It’s the same disease that took my grandfather from us before I ever had the chance to meet him, when my own dad was just 18.
Learn. Grow. Evolve. A Sunday #mood I don’t know how else to say it, So I said she made me more. More alive, more aware, more passionate, and calm. Perhaps the best we can do for those we love is to make them more, Always so much more that they ever thought possible. - Tyler Knott Gregson
