DIY Cinnamon Stick Christmas Tree Ornaments

DIY Cinnamon Stick Christmas Tree Ornaments I used this craft many years ago--maybe a Girl Scout project. They were fun and easy for even the craft-challenged kids .

We cut the log into 3 parts, used socks from the dollar store for the hats, cut the nose chips out of wood and material of choice for scarves. Buttons hot glued down the front and paint for eyes and cheeks.

Fingerprint snowman. This would be so much fun if they made all the snowmen themselves but had everyone in class make the parts. So, if there are 25 kids, they make 25 snowmen and each kid makes one.

Could do this with a lot of things with kids' handprints-maybe in the shape of a wreath? Or a Christmas tree?
