Stained plywood floors

Stained plywood floor! We remodeled an old trailer house. The floors were partially redone already, and we originally planned to use laminate flooring. Then we got the idea to use plywood. We sanded it ourselves and stained it with a dark walnut stain. Finishing with a coat of poly urethane, it looks beautiful!

diy stained plywood floors, I have to say this is a neat idea for cheap re-do of basement floors

Here's a photo for all of you who are curious about how the floor turned out. Basically what we did is just sand down the Advantech (plywood) subfloor, did two coats of dark stain then finished it.

This floor was handmade from PLYWOOD! The lady hand drew the lines, screwed it in and stained it with a dark finish! Amazing.
