This Licenced William Morris Willow Bough Design was first designed in 1887. It was first produced as a wallpaper design which William's daughter, May Morris used to decorate her bedroom before being adapted for fabric in 1895 when it was block printed in Merton Abbey. May wrote about the deisgn, "We were walking one day by our little stream that runs into the Thames and my father pointed out the detail and soon after the paper was done." We stock this design in both blue and green.
