Near “Danish Olle’s farm”, deep in the woods outside Göinge, we find the old dwelling Lindo Torp.
'Elsagården' (044-21). Swedish Crafts Association, founded in 1845, tried early on to raise the standard of the Swedish art handicraft by getting well known artists to make some patterns. At the so-called exhibition at Fotografiska in 1917 this pattern was presented among others. The wallpaper pattern designed by the architect Uno Åhrén.
'Liljesal' (090-02). This wallpaper is typical for the period 1860-1880, when it became popular with the medallion pattern without shadows and depth effects. This occurred as a reaction to the previous decades, three-dimensional drawed wallpaper was now considered to be overly realistic.
