Last Autumn, the trees in our front and back yard were trimed ,so we got some logs. It's very waste to throw it .we got idea from website to build planters for our garden plants from it. Log Planters are a Natural Addition to Any Yard Log Planters make use of old fallen logs so they are a great way to recycle. So, we have these three tree stumps in the center planter in our front yard. Instead of trying to get rid of them or disguise them with shrubbery, we planted things IN them. This one has sedum, sword ferns, bergenia, agapanthus, lysimachia (creeping jenny), and some small hellebores that have since been moved to a shadier location.
