Red House, William Morris and Philip Webb.  Call the red house because of the red brick they used to build the house.

The "Red House"- Bexleyheath, England. Designed by Phillip Webb for William Morris a beautiful, historical, grand house that I was lucky enough to visit frequently when it was a private home :)

April 1861, Morris Marshall, Faulkner & Co. was established in London priced a ranges of original domestic turnings included embroidery, tableware, and furniture, also stained glass me tiles.

William Morris founded Morris, Marshall, Faulkner, & Co. in His motivation was to remedy the pervasiveness of cheaply-made, mass produced furnishings that lacked any sense of beauty or style.

Morris, Marshall, Faulkner and Co. produced the first set of six two-tile Cinderella panels for a bedroom overmantel at 'The Hill'.  Morris was very influenced by Medievalism and medieval inspired Neo Gothic. The Red House was constructed in Gothic style, the windows are stained glass.
