awesome use for trailer ties from rattling as you drive down the road. Just slide the ball down to use clip on the halter.:

Keep a tennis ball on the end of the cross ties to avoid the super annoying CLANG. It may also give your barn dogs something to stare at for hours.

The milk jug is half full of salt water. So it floats and doesn't freeze. The horses have learned to push the jug down to access the water

To avoid completely full, frozen water troughs and ensure that there is always access to open water (which is hugely important for horses any time of the year) simply fill a jug half full of salt water. It will always float and never freeze.

Slowfeeder ...another great idea! Keeps hay dry, easy to move on wheels, and perfect to set up in several locations. I think this would be the perfect solution for a couple of horses!

Hay feeder

Home-made slow feeder for horses on the Paddock Paradise. Great for preserving hay supply and minimizing waste, smaller holes in the net would have been ideal here.
