Look how much taller the room looks w/ the curtains hung high! Try layering blinds behind curtain panels to make a window look wider and more open! Also covers up the wall to prevent high contrast areas breaking up the space.

I love that fireplace. Before and after family room transformation! Choppy floor plan no more! Divider wall was not load bearing and removed to create a wide open great-room concept.
