Baked chicken with Greek yogurt. Very good flavor and nice color. I added turmeric, minced garlic, salt and pepper to plain low fat Greek yogurt. Coat both sides of the chicken and baked till cooked through. If the chicken does not brown turn on broiler for last minute or so cooking.
Pan Roasted Tomatoes: Grape or Cherry tomatoes Olive Oil Sea Salt Sugar Crushed Garlic or Herb of your choice Start heating your skillet, I use cast iron. Wash and dry the tomatoes. Toss the tomatoes with olive oil, a touch of sugar and pinch of salt. When the pan is smokin’ hot, add the tomatoes and blacken them on all sides. The longer you cook it the sweeter the tomatoes will become. Remove from pan and sprinkle a little coarse grind sea salt and garlic or herb on your tomatoes.
Looking for perfectly round eggs for sandwiches? Use onion rings! You get nice sized and shaped eggs and good flavor from onion. Cut a large onion thick and take outer rings out. Cook the onion ring for a minute or so before carefully dropping the egg in. When the egg has started to set, flip and cook other side.
Chill a glass of wine without watering it down. Wash grapes and place in a ziplock bag or other freezer container. When drinking wine throw a few frozen grapes in your glass. Enjoy wine, then enjoy the grapes.
Healthful hot cocoa. Almond milk, raw organic cacao, raw honey, and Himalayan salt. Heat the almond milk till scalding. Add one pinch of salt, raw cacao to taste (I use 2 heaping tablespoons), honey to taste (I use 1 tablespoon), stir or whisk till frothy. Enjoy! Knowing that even though you're still getting calories you're doing a good thing for your body.
Quick and Easy Honey Almonds: Raw Almonds, Honey, Coarse salt, Cinnamon (optional). Toast the raw almonds in a dry pan. If using cinnamon sprinkle on now. When the nuts are hots and getting color, remove from heat, add 1-2 tablespoons of honey. Stir well to coat. Immediately pour out onto parchment or waxed paper. Using a utensil spread the nuts out to prevent clumping. Sprinkle liberally with salt. After cooling and drying remove from paper. (If there's any left)
