Audra Pearson grew up in the small central PA town of Selinsgrove. She attended Mansfield University in Pennsylvania and moved to Columbus in 1998 after earning her degree in education. Pearson has since gotten a master's degree from Ashland University. In 2015, Pearson was made the principle of Winterset Elementary School. She has two sons, one 18 and the other 9. Oct 2014: The Dallas PA football team stops on the way to the battle for the Old Shoe, to shake the hand of the 'Old Shoe' creator Robert Dolbear. 99 year old Dolbear played baseball and basketball at Mansfield University while studying education in the 1930's. He went on to spend the next 40 years in the Dallas School District as a teacher, principle, coach, and of course creator of the Old Shoe Trophy in 1948. Oct 2014: MU recently honored the Commander of the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, Major Brian Dix. Major Dix is a 1982 graduate of the music department at Mansfield University. Director of bands, Dr. Adam Brennan, MU President Fran Hendricks stood for this picture to honor Major Dix with induction to the Music Department Hall of Fame.
