Algebra 2 Interactive Notebook Pages Galore

Unit 2 in Algebra 2 was a HUGE one! Next year, I will definitely break this into tinier units for my sanity! Like I've been saying in all of these posts, this year's notebook pages are a mix of old and new. You should see some pages for the first time and others you've seen a million times before. Check out my Algebra 2 learning goals for this year here. I wanted to emphasize to my students that factoring isn't something to be afraid of! By the time they get to Algebra 2, the distributive…

This is a visual representation of slope of lines. This could be pinned to a pinboard and demonstrated in the class so as to ensure that students understand what is meant by positive, negative, zero or undefined slope. Slope Triangles

Here is another post that has been in my drafts since March. Oh my! Thank goodness I have summer to sit down and share these with you. Enjoy:) This was the first time I have taught slope triangles. Actually, and don't judge me, I've never given them any time in my curriculum. That changed this year as I decided to spend several days working with them in my Pre-Algebra 8th grade classes. We started our unit with Fawn Nguyen's awesome lesson using staircases to begin our discussion of slope. I…
