The Nok culture was a wide spread African culture between 500 BCE and 200 CE. They were well known for art like in this picture, practicing agriculture, and using iron tools. Made with terracotta.

Named after the area in Nigeria (West Africa), in which artifacts of their culture were first discovered, the Nok civilization flourished within the period 1000 BC - 500 AD.

Dated 600 BC-600 AD, Nigeria.
