Strong linear elements in wood are aligned to the long axis of the garden space, accentuating perspective. Solid white focal points draw the eye to the corner, keeping the receding lines of the slatted wall visually active, which imprints the perceived distance in the mind. A false horizon or other trompe l'oeil at the far end would achieve the same effect for the other half of the space. I find this space very effective, but would have liked to see a green roof on the playhouse to add lushness.
