Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, rhythm and blues group that was the 1st successful recording act for Motown Records. Their hits include "You've Really Got a Hold on Me", "Shop Around", "Mickey's Monkey", "Ooo Baby Baby", "Tracks of My Tears" , "I Second That Emotion", and "The Tears of a Clown". Called Motown's 'soul supergroup', they recorded over 50 chart hits, including 6 top ten singles. They were inducted into both the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.
Wilson Pickett (March 18, 1941 – January 19, 2006) was an American soul singer and songwriter. A major figure in the development of American soul music, Pickett recorded over 50 songs which made the US R charts, and frequently crossed over to the US Billboard Hot 100. Among his best known hits are "In the Midnight Hour", "Land of 1,000 Dances", "Mustang Sally" and "Funky Broadway". The impact of Pickett's songwriting and recording led to his 1991 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Arthur Conley was born in McIntosh County, Georgia, U.S. and grew up in Atlanta. He first recorded in 1959 as the lead singer of Arthur & the Corvets. With this group, he released three singles in 1963 and 1964 ("Poor Girl", "I Believe", and "Flossie Mae") on the Atlanta based record label, National Recording Company. After several years of singles in the early 1970s, he relocated to England in 1975, and spent several years in Belgium, then settled in Amsterdam, Netherlands in spring 1977.
