A Colorful Childhood
I spent all day cleaning and sorting the Chi's room yesterday. Tossed out old toys, books and clothes while she was at school..the only way to do it. She was pretty stoked when she got home and, yes, believe it or not, she actually keeps her art supplies pretty neat!
The Copic Markers You Need in Your Starter Set
How many markers do I need in my collection? I continue to get asked “What EXACTLY do I need to have in my marker stash to color images?” “Do I really need all 344 colors (and more as the collection grows)?” Sorry, Copic fans, there is no clear cut answer for this. But I can share my common sense approach on how to start your collection. Your collection should start with a base of 36 markers Why 36? Copic Marker Storage
These are the storage towers I made to hold my copic markers, prisma pencils and gel pens. They are made out of foam board from the dollar store and not too hard to make. For travel, I use a separate piece of foam board that is the same size as the back of the tower. I wrap wide elastic around it and secure with velcro. Instructions: Supplies Needed: 1 (20”x30”) foam board Exacto knife, metal ruler and cutting mat Aleene’s Glue (I used Fast Grab Tacky Glue) Flat-headed pins (“Satin” pins…
