The original Korg CX-3. A single-manual drawbar organ that sounded more like a Hammond than some of the Hammonds did. Solid state, simulated the tonewheel sound and allowed for on-the-fly mods with the drawbars. A portable alternative to the B

Vintage Korg BX-3. Analog clonewheel - At the time, it sounded better than that Hammond clones did. Still a decent instrument, if you can find one, and if you have a Ventilator to give your the Leslie effects. Dual manuals are cool, too.

Hamichord - software emulation of a Hammond in a dual manual with controls similar to the B3. I've never heard one of these in person.

catalog picture of the Numa organ. This portable uses the KeyB emulation of the famous Hammond B3. And, for jazz fans, the Numa is also bears the signature of Joey DeFrancesco.

The Roland VK-7 uses modelling and samples of Hammond B3's to recreate the Hammond sound. The Roland also includes some extra sound patches, horns, strings, etc. Decent organ sounds, bu the extra sounds aren't worth much. Except for the drawbar capabilities, I think Roland's samples in its synths (especially the Fantoms) are a better.

Hammond XK-1, a fake Hammond from Hammond (Hammond Suzuki, anyway.). Decent organ sound, vast improvement over earlier HS clones, but Korg, Nord and others do it better. A good entry level clone.

The Numa Organ! My very own clonewheel. Classic B3 sounds in a lightweight package. The Fatar waterfall keyboard is a thrill to play.

Not sure who this is, but check out, not 1 but 2 Korg analog Hammond Clones. A dual manual BX-3 (on the right) and a single manual CX-3.
