Glenn Lewis Frey (Nov. 6, 1948-Jan.18, 2016) was an American musician, singer, songwriter, producer and actor, best known as a founding member of Eagles. Frey played guitar with Eagles as well as piano and keyboards and sang lead vocals on many Eagles hits such as "Take It Easy", "Peaceful Easy Feeling", "Tequila Sunrise", "Already Gone", "Lyin' Eyes", "New Kid in Town", and "Heartache Tonight".

The death of Eagle's Glenn Frey marks end of a musical era that culminated in "Hotel California," defining the weary vibe of a generation -- one that is now rapidly aging.

The Eagles Glenn Frey. There will never be another singer, songwriter & musician of Glenn's caliber. Never another band like the Eagles! How sad for the world of music!
