Negative Space Art by Tang Yau Hoong

Tang Yau Hoong is a visual artist/graphic designer. I just love all of his works that I've seen so far. He is a genius when it comes to negative space. The way he uses negative space is just so brilliant.

WHITE SPACE: I love the simple style of this poster and how an image is made just using the hand and the screw. I think that it works well with the space and there is a focus point in the middle of the design.

This painting is very interesting. It shows a natural scene while it creates eye illusion as we can imagine that it is an old man face. It is suitable for a country style living room.

Dark side of typography

By placing lines at various distances from one another, the image gets more structure and gives the illusion of a body. A variation in width gives more dimension to the image and illustrates a sense of realism.
