weepling:        Utrecht goitre (Utrechtse Krop) is the title of a collection of photographs by Paul Kooiker. The book includes images of the file Utrecht University Hospital, some of them around 1890.        “Utrechtse Krop” (Utrecht goitre) was the name given to a thyroid condition once common in the Dutch town of Utrecht, due to a deficiency of iodine in drinking water.
