Off the beaten path in Tennessee's Smoky Mountains - The area surrounding Tennessee’s Smoky Mountains has a touristy reputation, but just 30 minutes from the tourist town of Gatlinburg, there’s a small town called Cosby that has a lot to offer. Here are a few things we discovered while we were camping near Cosby.
Chickamauga creek gorge Soddy Daisy TN One of my favorite summer hikes. I've never had to share this awesome little swim spot with anyone!
See our list of Best Family Hikes in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. All are easy, fairly short, and have cool things your kids will love.
The waterfalls of Deep Creek, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, near Bryson City, NC, include Tom Branch Falls, Indian Creek Falls, and Juneywhank Falls.
Gatlinburg Swinging Bridge. The fun thing about a swinging bridge is that they really do swing, and while completely safe to cross, they are a bit scary. Here at Foxfire Mountain you can cross the longest swinging bridge in America. Our bridge goes from the base camp at Foxfire Mountain across Dunn’s Gorge to Prosperity Mountain. #familyfun #hiking #Smokymountains
