This is a reproduction of the Milanese Corazzina (see my album Corazzina del Museo del Castello Sforzesco). The colour and texture of the linen is good, yet some details should be redesigned, like the neck area.
Rowel-spur of iron with a six-pointed rowel; short neck almost entirely composed of the rowel box. The sides of triangular-section have sharp angles, narrowing towards the front where they end in figure-of-eight terminals. At the rear is a large crest, the point of which has been broken off. At the angle of each side are three incised lines forming a pattern like a broad arrow. The spur is uniformly corroded and has been treated historically with some form of rust remover .
