Curious that it has not made another public appearance since. I quite like it.

Wherever it came from, the Canadian Aquamarine Tiara has now been worn by the Countess of Wessex. We assume it was a loan from the Queen. It’s interesting that this is the tiara she was allowed to wear, since she already has an aquamarine tiara. Sophie’s necklace at the 2012 Luxembourg pre-wedding gala dinner was also on loan from the Queen, the King Faisal Necklace. However, Her Majesty loaning things out is a fairly rare occurrence.
