This cute quokka on @rottnestislandwa seems pretty pumped that it's Friday, but to be honest these critters genuinely look stoked all of the time; life on 'Rotto' in @westernaustralia is pretty awesome, after all. QUOKKA.....found in Australia....the size of a house cat....a length of 16 to 19 inches and a weight of 3.3 to 10 pounds....very friendly, curious, fearless, and playful....often called the "happiest animal in the world"....name comes from the Aboriginal language of the local Nyungar people...Nyungars called the creatures “gwaga”....the early European settlers interpreted this as “quokka”
