Although Readers Theatre doesn't entail "elaborate performances," it still allows children to enter and engage in another world (Worthy & Prater, 2002, p. 294).

Stephen King was my favorite writer. I say was, because I can't read scary books anymore. I have a really vivid imagination, in my early 20's I learned that reading Horror books was more intense than watching the movie's. The books started messing with me. I began to have horrible nightmares and increased panic attacks. No type of entertainment's worth all that nonsense so I leave it alone.
