Milky Way Galaxy looming over Wilson Beach in Australia ~ The mystery of why the Milky Way has always been sideways in the night sky may have been answered. Scientists from University of VA and MA announced that the Sun, the Moon, our planet and its siblings, were not born into the familiar band of stars known as the Milky Way galaxy, but we actually belong to a strange formation with the unfamiliar name of the Sagittarius Dwarf galaxy!

Milky Way - Towards Monument Valley - https://youtu.be/D-pRJaFTQLo https://youtu.be/D-pRJaFTQLo "Milky Way". A classic shot down road 163 towards Monument Valley known from the movie "Forrest Gump", but with a bit more "bling" ;) Yup it's a composite, but not totally unrealistic since the Milky Way is in that direction - but it would be way bigger if it was shot with this focal length. I wanted to make a simple composition where the road and Milky Way leads into the picture from the bottom…
