This is a decorated and granulated silver cap which was thought it was sewn on the tip of a triangle viking hat that was commonly worn by viking men throughout sweden. This cap is found in Uppland, Björkö, Sweden.

Dragon heads on the bow of the viking ships were supposed to protect against the evil spirits of the sea. Whatever, it's art.

Cap-mount Silver The cap-mount is decorated with V-shaped granulation and was used to decorate the top of a hat. The Sheet metal bead which supposedly was placed on the top of the cap-mount is missing.
