A dedicated student of American and European furniture history, Venturi re-interpreted the cliched forms of significant period designs in his series of nine chairs for Knoll. He produced innumerable studies in the development of these chairs and many prototypes are in existence.

Named for the Chinese ‘stinking’ sumac tree, ‘Stink Tree’ is a coffee table with an unusual cut-out design by Dylan Gold. Made of solid MDF with a walnut veneer top, the table offers a little bit of storage in the negative space of the trunk.
