I bought some outdoor modge podge (hobby lobby $5 - don't forget to download %40 coupon) and some scapbooking paper (walmart $5 book). Then put modge podge under to stick the paper to the table then a top coat of exterior modge podge. I sealed it all with some epoxy resin high gloss (Lowe's $18). Before the epoxy coat you need to create a barrier around the table so it doesn't spill/expand off onto the floor. I used duct tape sticking up all around. Protect the floor just in case.

Bottle cap mosaic on an electrician's spool table. I caulked the grooves between the boards, then painted the table with exterior enamel paint. I caulked the caps to the top of the table. Then screwed landscape edging around the side. Need to varnish the top yet, but waiting for spring.

This is a spool I was lucky enough to see someone discarding. It is very large and very, very heavy. It took using our tractor to move it. This is the finished paint job but I plan on adding a self leveling epoxy to the table top & embellishments like some rope around the edge of the table. These stools are extras I had sitting around but I plan on painting them and making cushions for the top. More pics to come later.
