Although not drawn in the hyper-sexualized, amazon style as most super-hero comics, Aeon Flux rates as one of the more aggressively mixed and complex characters within this genre. The fearure film starring Charlize Theron (we love her dark-side!) didn't do all that well, but it is a series that seems to have some staying power.
Steampunk its more than an aesthetic tendency, it's the longing for the past that never was. In Steampunk Girls we display pictures, and illustrations of Steampunk, Dieselpunk and other anachronistic 'punks, some cosplay too!
Aeon Flux (*not* the live action film) is an amazing show. It's cerebral, surreal, erotic, and intriguing. Netflix has it for rental only, it has yet to come to streaming play. I just went and bought the series back in 2005 never having seen it :)
