The Grand Canal is a canal in Venice, Italy. It forms one of the major water-traffic corridors in the city. Public transport is provided by water buses and private water taxis, and many tourists explore the canal by gondola.
Palazzo Coccina Tiepolo Papadopoli Palazzo Coccina Tiepolo Papadopoli 16th Century. The Coccina family was from Bergamo and purchased its way into Venetian society. This was not uncommon. In Venice nearly everything seemed to have a price. Venice has been called by some the Switzerland of its day. Originally the palazzo had four famous Veronese paintings of sacred subjects and Coccina family portraits. They are now in Dresden Germany. It was designed by Guglielmo de'Grigi.
