The Rubjerg Knude in Denmark is an amazing sight, one of the 16 best sights you cannot miss in Denmark, besides Copenhagen. This lighthouse is supposed to disappear into the sea by 2023 thanks to the dune and corrosion on the cliff it sits on.
Rubjerg knude lighthouse - This is probably one of the hardest conditions I've ever shot in. It was pitch black beside the stars and the wind was very hard whirling sand and dust up into my eyes all the time. I had dust in my eyes the following three - four days :P But I got the shot I wanted after a bit of trial and error. The picture is taken at Rubjerg Knude lighthouse which is standing lonely in the middle of a big dune in northern Jutland, Denmark.

RUBJERG KNUDE LIGHTHOUSE, DENMARK When it became clear that if the sand dunes didn't completely engulf this century-old structure first, it would eventually topple into the North Sea due to coastal erosion, the lighthouse was left to the elements.
Rubjerg Knude lighthouse in Denmark dates from 1900 but stopped operating in It's anticipated that by 2023 the cliff will have eroded so much - due to coastal erosion and continually shifting sands - that the lighthouse will fall into the sea
