Mesonacis fremonti (= Olenellus fremonti) in my favorite trilobite order, Redlichiida, and family, Olenellidae. It was collected more than a half century ago in the early Cambrian Latham Shale Formation, Marble Mountains, California. The famous paleontologist Charles Doolittle Walcott described it in 1910.
