Glamis Castle, Angus, Scotland - famous as the setting for William Shakespeare's play 'Macbeth', Glamis is reported to be the most haunted castle in Scotland. It is also the ancestral home of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, where she grew up.

Glamis Castle in Angus, Scotland is widely renowned as one of the most haunted locations across the British Isles. The sheer number of reports that have occurred there, as well as the folklore that surrounds it, certainly lend itself to this claim.

Glamis Castle has been open to the public since Earl and Countess of Strathmore and Kinghorne (who live there) granted access to visitors. Just beware of the ghostly ghouls, this castle is apparently haunted!
